JUKI APW896 NS12-ZR2K Automatic Sewing Machine
The JUKI APW-896 NS12-ZR2K is an automatic machine for straight and slanted pocket stitching, with one or two tabs, with or without flap, trapezoidal stitching. Production volume for straight pocket stitching: 1900-2300 pcs/8h - assuming: pocket length 150mm, stitch length 2.5mm, pockets without patch: 1600-1900 pcs/8h for pockets with a patch. Thanks to the increase in sewing speed and the application of new control mechanisms, direct drives of the "DIRECT DRIVE" type, a reduction in the time of sewing a straight pocket by approximately 16-35% has been achieved in comparison with the previous APW-196 model. Reduced average energy consumption of up to 60% has also been achieved. JUKI was the first manufacturer to introduce a very simple system for adjusting the angle knives via the control panel. The machine is equipped with a simple spacing change mechanism that allows the saddle position of the hook drive shaft to be changed and adjusted from the top of the bed without having to tilt the machine head. The time required to change the needle spacing is more than half that of conventional machines. The machine is equipped as standard with a micro-adjustment function to adjust the position of the presser foot. This makes it possible to adjust the width of the extractor both accurately and quickly.
