JUKI LU-2860V ALD7 is the latest offering, a 2-needle digital automatic lockstitch machine with triple transport ( Unison-feed ). The machine sews with lockstitch and has automatic thread cutting. The sewing speed is 3500 stitches/min. The machine has a very large XXL gripper. The drive of the machine is a modern energy-saving, reinforced SERVO motor (high torque), mounted in the head, directly on the main shaft of the machine. The high-performance machine leaves a shorter thread on the fabric at the beginning of sewing with a thread crimping device, and also at the end of sewing with a thread cutter. This means that manual thread trimming at both the beginning and end of sewing is no longer necessary. The needle tension is digitally controlled. Adjusting the needle thread tension requires experience. However, with this sewing machine, the thread tension data is stored in memory and is reproducible, which reduces the setup time of the machine when the fabric changes.
