DURKOPP ADLER 173 is a 1-needle, 2-thread chain machine. The machine has a bottom transport and a puller. An ideal tool for sewing light and medium materials. The needle stroke height is 30mm, stitch length up to 4mm. The lockstitch machine is equipped with automatic functions, i.e. thread cutting, needle positioning, locking, electro-pneumatic quick foot lifting. Programmable sewing process, i.e. size and type of bartacks, needle positioning, foot lifting torque, sewing speed. The DURKOPP ADLER 173 two-chain stitching machine is a machine for rational sewing of smooth seams in difficult to feed material. This high-performance machine ensures smooth and tension-free seams, even on microfibres. It operates completely synchronised with bottom feeding, even at speeds of up to 6,000 stitches/min. The technological solution ensures that seams are sewn without displacement in any material. If required, the puller can be completely swivelled away from the sewing area, so that the lockstitch machine can also be used without a puller.
